For PvE, I sometimes go:
Triple Chop
Penetrating Chop
Executioner's Strike
Disrupting Chop
Healing Signet
Endure Pain
Watch Yourself!
Rebirth
16 Axe, 9 Strength, 11 Tactics, and if any, Prot.
I feel like I'm forgetting some skill..

Ya, I'm a little behind on capping Elites. I hear Triple Chop is nice and Eviserate is also.
Anyone else?

I'd lower the str, and boost tactics. Endure pain isn't really that fantastic in PvE, so if that's the only str skill you ever use, I'd say ditch all the str, loose endure pain, and put the points in tactics.

Rather than Glad's defense, I'd look into getting Triple Chop, Eviscerate, Whirling Axe, or Cleave.

Get Eviscerate, its like Executioners and Dismember in one skill. This build is obviously designed to deal damage, and AP is best in PVE due to the high armor foes (vamp is still better then sundering on axes in pve though). Yeah, drop endure tbh.
Taking that as a base, I would do...
Cyclone
Eviscerate {E}
Executioner's
Distracting Blow / Disrupting Chop
Shield Stance
Dolyak Signet
Watch Yourself
Rebirth / Rez Sig (yes Im serious)

Thanks for the help folks.
I'm just now to Hell's Precipice, so hopefully I can cap there tonight. Going to try and get Triple Chop also.

yeah i usually use a low defence build but its still good
Triple chop {e]
penetrating chop
penetrating blow
dismember
executioners strike
furious axe
shield stance
healing breeze
att
axe ~ 16 (12+1+3)
tactics ~ 12 (10+2)
strength ~ 4 (3+1)
healing ~ 5 or 6
i think that works
if anything drop furiour axr for some defense

Why would you ever use Whirling Axe over Triple Chop?

16 Axe | 10 Str | 10 Tactics
Gear: Victo's Axe (20/20), Exalted Aegis (Str)
Triple Chop {E}
Dismember
Axe Rake or Axe Twist, can't remember
Executioner's Strike
Healing Sig
Sprint (Just in Case... )
Watch Yourself!
Rebirth
It's a decent build to run with henchs and real players.

nice builds dudes
all of those builds are great, but what i do is scout ahead and figure out what im going up against is its mostly melee i bring bonettis or glads, if there are lots of degens i bring some sort of condition or hex removal, point is, is that its good to know what ur up against and to have the upperhand. hope this helps

I'd run with an IAS.
Something like Flurry + a zealous weapon, while not giving you much increased dammage is does increase your adrenal gain by 33%

For PvE (works well for hench / PuG):
Strength: 10 + 1 Helm + 1 Gloves
Axe Mastery: 12
Healing Prayers: 6
Eviscerate {E}, Axe Twist, Executioner's Strike, Cyclone Axe, Healing Breeze, Sprint, Endure Pain, Rebirth
Basic, self-maintaining spiker. Early in the game use Dismember instead of Eviscerate. You should be able to keep yourself alive long enough to get out of the heat if you need, then rebirth everyone. This is the build I used to beat Prophecies.
For Soloing:
Axe Mastery: 12
Tactics: 10 + 1 helm + 1 rune
Healing Prayers: 6
Dismember, Axe Twist, Executioner's Strike, Healing Signet, Healing Breeze, "Charge!" {E}, Bonnetti's Defense, "For Great Justice!"
I use this to successfully solo through the Jungle and Northern Kryta (against undead). Still a spiker. "FGJ!" Helps fuel your adrenaline based skills. Use Bonnetti's then healing Sig or Healing Breeze as needed. Charge! gets you in and out quick.
